Review widget types

myPresences provides four types of review widgets.

• Popup. Reviews popup from the bottom of the page and cycle every few seconds.
• Carousel. Reviews appear on the page as a horizontal carousel that shows a new review to the right every few seconds.
• List. Reviews appear on the page in a list.
• Grid. Reviews appear on the page in a grid with 3 columns.

Each widget display the same information:

• How long ago the review was left.
• Reviewer Photo. (if available).
• Reviewer Name.
• Review Star Rating. (if available).
• Logo of the Review Service. (if available).
• Review Content.

Popup Widget

The popup widget does not take up space on the page.  Your reviews popup from the bottom of the page and will cycle through all showcased reviews before repeating.

This is the best option when:

• You want your reviews to be shown to all website visitors
• You don't have a set place for reviews to appear

To see an example of the popup review widget with your reviews go to the Showcase Widget page and an example will appear in the lower right of your page.

Carousel Widget

The carousel widget appears where you place it on a webpage and shows 2 reviews at a time.

A new review will be shown to the right every few seconds or scroll buttons can be used to scroll left and right.

This is the best option when:

• You have a set place on a page where you want your reviews to appear but only have limited space

To see the Carousel widget with your reviews go to the Showcase Widgets page and select Reviews Carousel from the top dropdown. An example will appear at the bottom of the page under the example heading.

List Widget

The list widget shows all of your showcased reviews in a list (single column) on the webpage where you place it.

This is the best option when:

• You have a set place on a page where you want your reviews to appear
• You want website visitors to easily read your review content (as the list provides more space).
• You have a smaller  number of reviews to showcase

To see the List widget with your reviews go to the Showcase Widgets page and select Reviews List from the top dropdown. An example will appear at the bottom of the page under the example heading.

Grid Widget

The grid widget shows all of your showcased reviews in a grid on the webpage where you place it.  The grid will display 3 columns of reviews with each review appearing as a card.

On a mobile device this will revert to one column and will be the same as the List Widget.

To see the Grid Widget with your reviews go to the Showcase Widgets page and select Reviews Grid from the top dropdown. An example will appear at the bottom of the page under the example heading.
