By default emails will be sent from info@mypresences.com and will display Team @ {business_name} where {business_name} is the name of your business as the sender.
You can override this by setting your own From Address (see below), where you can set both the name and the email address the email comes from.
From Address
The from address is the email address where you want emails to come from. You can set this as a simple email address but we recommend that you set a nicer from address that will display a name you choose.
To set a nice email from address use the format "name" <emailaddress> , for example "John from ACME" <john@acme.com>.
Note: It is important that the name is in inverted commas but the inverted commas will not appear in your emails.
You can set your from address under White Label and then Email in your Account settings.
SMTP Settings
You can use your own email service so that your customers see emails coming from your business's email server if they look in the delivery details.
Setup is very quick and requires you to have SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) settings for your email provider.
Email settings are configured as part of the white label setup and can be setup at the Account Level or the Business.
The SMTP settings are used to send emails via your email service. You should be able to get these settings from your email provider.
SMTP Server |
This is the name of the server for your email providers SMTP server. This is usually smtp.<service> Eg. for gmail this is smtp.gmail.com |
SMTP Port | This is usually 587 but may be 465. |
SMTP Username | This is usually your email address. |
SMTP Password | This is the password you use to login to your email account. |
Note:
