In Email Settings you can define your sender details and use your own smtp email server to send emails rather than using the default.
Account or Business settings
Account
Email settings for your Account are found under the Account page in the White Label tab and then Email. These are used for all business locations in your account.
Your account can also be accessed from the User Menu in the top right and then choosing Account Settings.
Business
If you want to override this settings for a particular business only.
- Choose the business from the business selector at the top.
- Navigate to Setup -> Whitelabel Setup -> Email from the left Navigation bar.
- Set the email settings here. Only the settings you set will be overridden.
This allows you to override things like the Sender Name or Sender Email for the business and leave the Email Server that same as the account.
Sender Settings
Sender Name
Set the Name the Email is from. This may be the Business Name. If you don't set a setting it will default to Team @ {business_name} where {business_name} is the name of your business as the sender.
Default: Team @ {business_name}.
From Address
The from address is the email address where you want emails to come from and where replies will go to.
Default: info@mypresences.com
SMTP Settings
You can use your own email service so that your customers see emails coming from your business's email server if they look in the delivery details.
Setup is very quick and requires you to have SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) settings for your email provider (see below).
Email settings are configured as part of the white label setup and can be setup at the Account Level or the Business.
The SMTP settings are used to send emails via your email service. You should be able to get these settings from your email provider.
