In most cases you can start generating reviews immediately. myPresences will automatically find all the places online where you can be reviewed and will set a default list of places where we will send reviewers to for your business.
However, we highly recommend the following before starting to generate reviews:
- Review your settings.
- Do some tests yourself.
The following should be reviewed and setup before starting to generate reviews.
|Review Sites||Which review sites do you want to generate reviews on and in which order should they appear to reviewers.|
|Email Settings||If you want emails to come from your own email address these settings should be configured. If these are not set emails will come from email@example.com.|
|Email Templates||You can use the default email templates or customise them yourself.|
|Custom Domain||If you do not setup a customer domain your customers will be redirected to a your page on mypresences.com where they will leave their feedback. This can be hosted from your website.|
|Public Information||Your customers will be redirected to feedback pages about your business. You should configure your logo, phone number, social media profiles and banners before customers view these pages.|
Once you have everything setup do a few tests with your own email address to ensure everything is working correctly and understand the process.
When your business was created we automatically added a test user with the email address you used when signing up. You can use this for testing or create as many additional test people as you need.
When testing please run through the entire review generation process at least once.
Start generating review requests
Now you are ready to start generating review requests, add some people or import users from an external platform and start generating requests.
