Campaigns allow you setup a sequence of communications over time.
Using campaigns rather than individual messages results in better conversions as you are able to send followup messages to increase the chance of the recipient completing your objective. Eg. Leaving a review.
A campaign consists of 1 or more steps with a configurable delay between steps. Each step can be an Email or a Text\SMS message.
Creating a campaign
A campaign consists of a sequence of messages to a recipient, either Email or Text\SMS.
Before creating a campaign you should create the Email templates or Message templates that you will use in your campaign.
To create a new campaign:
- Go to the Campaign Setup page under the Setup menu -> Campaigns.
- Click the New button.
- Enter a name for the new campaign.
- Click the Save button.
Once you have created the campaign it will be selected and you can edit it.
Editing a campaign
To edit a campaign:
- Go to the Campaign Setup page under the Setup menu -> Campaigns.
- Select the campaign from the top dropdown.
To add a step:
- Click the Add Step button.
To edit a step:
- Choose the delay before sending this step from the wait dropdown.
- Choose a template from the template dropdown.
- After changing the message template a preview will be displayed for the message template.
To re-order Steps:
- Click on the step number and drag the step up or down to re-order.
To edit the current template:
- Click on the Edit Template button.
To delete a step:
- Click the Delete Step button.
Deleting a campaign
To delete a campaign:
- Go to the Campaign Setup page under the Setup menu -> Campaigns.
- Select the campaign from the top dropdown.
- Click the Delete button.
- Confirm deletion of the campaign.
Changing a campaign's name
To change the name of a campaign template:
- Go to the Campaign Setup page under the Setup menu -> Campaigns.
- Select the campaign from the top dropdown.
- Change the campaign name in the field at the bottom of the page.
- Click the Save button.
